This is a critical time where children develop their brain along and what better way to help this process than by providing a fun stimulating environment. During this class parents will be required to participate in drills with Rubyz by using a variety of props, language and activities encouraging toddlers to participate in class sessions. Ruybz will play organized games to develop listening techniques, basic ball control, foot-eye coordination and motor skills that are introduced through fun exercises, that also build fundamentals such as balance, gross motor skills and social interaction. Goals, goals and more goooooooooooooals will be scored!
This course is designed to help toddlers combine basic soccer and movement. Children continue to develop fundamental foot-eye coordination by learning basic skills of kicking, passing and trapping the ball including shooting and passing with different parts of their foot. Coaches will continue to emphasize the importance of team work and social skills by sharing and taking turns during drills and games. This course is designed to increase listening skills during games and activities while maintaining a high energy fun environment. This is the first class where Pearlz are completely independent to help increase confidence and self sufficiency. The Pearlz curriculum is the ideal course for new and veteran Gemz that enjoy exciting physical and social activities! Pearlz curriculum is designed to combine previous lessons and activities so your child maintains the concept of Soccer Gemz philosophy.
Classes are developed and structured to focus more on teamwork and improvement of tactical skills. Players learn more advance fundamental skills through fun age appropriate activities. The coaches and activities remain focused on fun and exciting games, but the skills and activities become more challenging. This class encourages Emeraldz to utilize both feet in various drills centered on basic game situations. In addition to the basic skills of passing, shooting and ball control players will learn heading and one or two touch techniques. Emeraldz will be introduced to additional concepts of defense where they begin to challenge for the ball. Coaches will teach age appropriate games and techniques with emphasis on technical development and decision making skills. The focus of the class will be to combine all the learned skills in previous classes where they can be utilized in non competitive mini-games situations while continuing to incorporate physical fitness and social interaction. Emeraldz will the opportunity to utilize their skills in mini games to further thier development.
