Diamondz Soccer Program for 6 Year Olds to 8 Year Olds
Our Diamondz class is designed for children ages 6 years old, 7 years old, and 8 years old.
The Diamondz classes continue building and developing their previous skills through fun and creative drill, but they will also be introduced to more advanced skills while continuing to encourage sportsmanship and friendly competition during scrimmages.
Diamondz students, age 6, age 7, and age 8, can also participate in additional activities such as our 3v3 tournaments or Skills Challenges.
Diamondz Soccer Class Activity Goals
SoccerGemz goal is to provide a fun and structured environment for each player which will help to prepare them for skilled athletic participation. We focus our classes for each child to actively participate in fun games and skill development drills over the next 7 weeks. Our experienced coaches are able to engage each player with non-traditional techniques. This not only helps build your child's athletic skills but also provides a way to help increase their self-confidence and social development by participating in a friendly and supportive environment. Parents are encouraged to actively cheer from the sidelines.
Diamondz Benchmarks
Gemz completing the SoccerGemz Diamondz classes should be able to achieve the following class benchmarks
- Score in the correct goal
- Performs move of day correctly
- Dribble between cones
- Dribble with head up
- Control ball
- Pass or take ball from peers
Once your Diamond turns 9 years old and can hit the Diamondz benchmark goals, they will have successfully completed the SoccerGemz highest age group class!
While our class cut-off age is 8 years old, we do offer our 3v3 Tournaments up to age 10. Get more information on our 3v3 tournaments.
